Astro for fast, content-led sites with a simple editor; WordPress when you want a familiar admin, a specific plugin, or an existing site worth keeping - built custom and lean, without page-builders; Ruby on Rails or Angular when the project is really a web application. I recommend, explain why, and you decide.

Yes. Beyond websites I build web applications - client portals, booking and RSVP flows, internal tools - in Ruby on Rails or Angular, and I choose the stack around what the app actually has to do. If your idea is better solved as a site with a few custom features, I'll say that too.

Fast by design, not by luck. I build performance-first - server-rendered HTML, lean assets, animation added as enhancement rather than as a dependency - and I check real Core Web Vitals before launch rather than trusting a score in a lab.

I'm based in Zürich and work with clients across Switzerland and further afield. Local projects can meet in person whenever it helps; everything else runs smoothly remotely - calls, shared documents, and milestone reviews.
